Samuel Vartan Collections / Designs is about who wears them. She is cultured, timeless, and quality – just like the clothing she wears. Shoppers here will find designs created from fabrics carefully sourced from Italy. Clothing that has been painstakingly thought-out, down to the smallest labeling detail and Riri zippers from Germany. Nothing has been overlooked, because as Samuel says, “It’s a form of communication.”
The selection of high-quality fabrics Vartan creates with are diverse: Italian linens, Egyptian cottons, lamb leather, cashmere, French chiffon and Indian silk.
Modern, simple silhouettes and timeless cuts abound in his collections, which are not sewn in Far East assembly lines but in Canada and the United States by master sewers: craftsmen with meticulous attention to detail.
Collections debut twice per year: Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Clients can look forward to consistent themes each season with Spring/Summer being of Mediterranean resort-wear influence and Fall/Winter exploring “dark city” themes and urban, edgy design.
Beside his Mediterranean roots, Vartan counts architecture, movies like Blade Runner and classic female icons such as Sophia Lauren, Claudia Cardinale and Brigitte Bardot amongst his influences. And yet still, Vartan brings his own emotional authenticity to each and every garment he designs:
